APACM Young Investigator Award

Jinhyun has received the APACM Young Investigator Award from the Asian Pacific Association for Computational Mechanics (APACM).

The APACM Young Investigator Award is presented to promising researchers under the age of 40 who have demonstrated strong research activity and future potential in computational mechanics. The award is conferred once every three years, with only around five recipients selected across the Asia–Pacific region, making it one of the most selective early-career awards in the field.

Jinhyun is the first researcher from the civil and environmental engineering discipline in Korea to receive the APACM Young Investigator Award.

The award ceremony was held on December 8, 2025, during the APCOM-ACCM 2025 Conference in Brisbane, Australia.
