Visit of Prof. Clarence Choi

It was a great pleasure to welcome Prof. Clarence Choi from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) to Seoul National University from May 25 to 27, 2026.

During his visit, Prof. Choi delivered an invited lecture entitled “Engineered and Nature-Based Solutions against Flow-Type Landslide Hazards.” He generously shared his valuable insights with our geotechnical group, highlighting recent advances in understanding, assessing, and mitigating flow-type landslide hazards through both engineered countermeasures and nature-based approaches.
